Inferior mesenteric vein - In human anatomy, the inferior mesenteric vein (IMV) is a blood vessel that drains blood from the large intestine. It usually terminates when reaching the splenic vein, which goes on to form the portal vein with the superior mesenteric vein (SMV).

Panniculitis - Panniculitis is a group of diseases whose hallmark is inflammation of subcutaneous fatty and muscle tissue. Symptoms include tender skin nodules, and systemic signs such as weight loss and fatigue.

Inferior mesenteric artery - In human anatomy, inferior mesenteric artery supplies the large intestine from the left colic (or splenic) flexure to the upper part of the rectum also known as the hindgut, which includes the descending colon, the sigmoid colon, and the rectum. It does this through the following branches:

Superior mesenteric artery - In human anatomy, the superior mesenteric artery arises from the anterior surface of the abdominal aorta, just inferior to the origin of the celiac trunk, and supplies the intestine from the duodenum to the left colic flexure and the pancreas.
